glimpse: Winter in Bethlehem

Just a few shots from my walk around Bethlehem the other night. It was just one of those nights that felt like the holidays were approaching. Bethlehem really has such a romantic vibe this time of year and the sunset just made the light perfect. My favorite photo is the one with Bethlehem Star. It seems so peaceful, and cold! Ha. We hope all is well, and have a great, safe holiday!

glimpse: rock on

Mercedes and I had a ton of fun experimenting and stylizing these photos to give us an edgy, editorial feel. As always, Mercedes did great with the posing, and a few thrift store items really pulled the shoot together.  When approaching some photography projects, I always try to remember one thing; if an amazing shot does not present itself, then all you have to do is make one. It's fun to play around and put things together, put lights together, try new techniques, and experiment until you find what works. And the best part of it all is it rarely has to cost anything. It was great practice, and we love how the images came out. We hope you enjoy, and all is good.

glimpse: Holiday billboards

We recently finished up an awesome advertisement project with our friends at Artfully Elegant gallery. Needless to say we were psyched when they contacted us about doing seven unique billboards through out the Lehigh Valley to promote their beautiful hand crafted goods. We jumped at the opportunity, and was given a deadline of only one week. I've come to realize I work best with a little fire under my butt, and the practice is always worth it. I wanted to make sure we stayed within a color palette and style that fully complimented Artfully Elegant's current marketing direction. And secondly we wanted to add a bit of personality, warmth, and holiday cheer to the images vs. a typical white background type product shot. Overall it was a fun, creative opportunity, and we're very happy with the way everything came together. Thanks again to Artfully Elegant and if you still have some shopping to do for someone special I urge you to go check them out next to Hotel Bethlehem. Real genuine gifts, you can't beat it!

Hope all is well and everyone enjoy your holiday!!

glimpse: Jension family shoot, Easton photography

We managed to squeeze this one in right before the year's first snow! Twins Luke and Grace were full of excitement as it started to flurry in downtown Easton, PA. The Jenison family and I played around the colorful Bank St. Alley, and I must say the weather, cheerful vibe, and a little break to warm up at Dunkin Donuts really made this an enjoyable way to spend my afternoon! Thanks again guys, and have a great holiday.

glimpse: Alyssa + Scot engagement allentown photography

A big congratulations to our great friends Alyssa and Scot on their engagement! I met Scot way back in the college days, and even after graduation we did pretty good keeping in touch. A few years ago Scot was looking for a change of scenery and decided to make Bethlehem, PA his new home. This was great news! An old friend moving to my town, what could be better! Little did we know this was a new chapter and we were bound to meet new people. It was during this time Scot had met Alyssa and it seemed like over night their relationship soared. Their similarities compliment each other, and their personalities just rock. Whether home brewing fresh IPA's, going on mountain bike rides, or watching the Penn State game, they are always enjoying each others company. Mercedes and I are very lucky to have such great friends and we're so happy for you both.  We can't wait for the wedding!

Thanks, and we hope all is well Tim + Mercedes

glimpse: A man+ his bus

This was a great shoot! One of those shoots that had no real purpose other than getting up early for some nice light, grabbing a hot coffee, and hanging out with a buddy. Sometimes that's all it takes to get a great photo. Lee and I are no strangers to working together creatively. We've stretched our own canvases and painted like Pollock!  We've played in bands and wrote songs like Page and Plant! Uh... well at least that's how we felt at the time. But why? Just because it's fun and important to constantly stay creative and this shoot was just that. Over the last year Lee has been rolling up his sleeves, and fixing up his labor of love vintage VW bus for the ultimate outdoor adventure mobile. We're glad we rolled out of bed that morning and really dig how the final images show that gritty similarity between a man and his bus.

Hope all is well, Tim
